BETTY CARES CELEBRATES THE SUCCESS OF ITS 5^TH ANNUAL CARS, COCKTAILS, CUISINE EVENT

SUNRISE, FL. (February 15, 2015) – The 5^th Annual Cars, Cocktails, Cuisine presented by the Law Offices of Jason Turchin hosted over 150 community and business leaders to a walk down memory lane with a rare look at classic cars from nearly every decade, all in benefit of Betty Cares at Miami Children’s Hospital.

Held at the exclusive Dauer Museum of Classic Cars in Sunrise, the event was hosted by Miami Children’s Health Foundation Diamond Society members Kira and Jason Turchin. The Turchins founded Betty Cares at Miami Children’s Hospital in 2010 in memory of Kira’s mother to support caregivers who dedicate themselves to caring for their loved ones.

“My mother’s memory lives on through our charity, Betty Cares. This wonderful annual event reminds us that behind every sick child at Miami Children’s Hospital, there is a parent or caregiver who is selflessly putting their needs aside and doing everything they can to make sure that child recovers. This event raises money in my mother’s name to support all of these selfless heroes,” said Kira Turchin. At the event, guests enjoyed a performance by Broadway performers, The Garden State Guys and special guest Meggie Cansler, who belted out some Broadway favorites as well as songs from Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons and The Beach Boys.
